Zicstack Mailing Engine

Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated 11 October 2026

This policy applies to everyone who uses the Zicstack Mailing Engine (“the platform”), operated by Zicstack Innovations (“we”, “us”). It applies to every email sent from your workspace, including broadcasts, sequences and emails sent to individual addresses. If you do not agree to it, do not use the platform.

1. Send only to people who asked

You may email only people who gave you permission to email them, for the kind of email you are sending. That permission must come from them directly, for example by signing up on your form or your website.

Be able to show how and when each person on your list joined, if we or a mailbox provider ask.

2. Lists you may not use

You may not upload or send to addresses that were:

  • bought, rented, borrowed or shared by anyone else;
  • scraped or harvested from websites, directories or social networks;
  • collected for a different purpose, such as invoices or event entry, without permission to send marketing email;
  • role addresses (such as info@ or sales@) that never signed up themselves.

3. What you may not send

  • cold outreach or any other unsolicited email;
  • phishing, malware, or links that hide where they lead;
  • false or misleading sender names, From addresses or subject lines;
  • content that is illegal where you or your recipients are, or that promotes illegal goods or services;
  • content that harasses, threatens or encourages violence against anyone;
  • sexually explicit content.

4. What every marketing email must have

  • a sender name and From address that honestly identify you;
  • a working unsubscribe link (the platform adds one; do not remove or hide it);
  • your postal address, where the law requires it, such as under the US CAN-SPAM Act.

5. Respect unsubscribes, bounces and complaints

The platform stops sending to people who unsubscribe, who complain, or whose address permanently bounces. You may not add those people back, import them again under another tag, or try any other way around this.

6. Keep bounce and complaint rates low

A high rate of bounces or spam complaints usually means a list was not collected with permission. If your workspace’s rates are high, we may pause its sending while we look into it, and ask you to clean your list before sending again.

7. Follow the law

You are responsible for following the email and data protection laws that apply to you and to the people you email. Depending on where they are, these can include the US CAN-SPAM Act, the EU and UK GDPR, Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation and the Nigeria Data Protection Act.

8. What happens if this policy is broken

We may, without notice, pause your workspace’s sending, remove content that breaks this policy, or suspend or close your workspace. Where the law requires it, we may report illegal activity to the authorities.

9. Reporting abuse

If you received an email sent through the platform that you did not ask for, email support@zicstack.co and include the email if you can.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed, and continuing to use the platform after a change means you accept the updated policy. Our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy also apply.
